Drawing inspiration from the ancient tale of Gilgamesh, Cam brings a modern sensibility and relatable character interactions to the story. The art is richly detailed and tone perfect for the story. Jace chats with creators Kelly Thompson and Meredith McClaren about their Image series Black Cloak. Set in a world of Sci-Fi and fantasy, the story starts out as a murder mystery, but has the potential to be so much more. The fully-realized world of Kyros is rendered beautifully by Meredith while Kelly's trademark humor brings a sense of realism to these characters. An absolute must-read.
