Jace and Rocky from ComicBoom! talk about the DC titles for the week of November 14, 2023. We reach the end of the road for WildC.A.T.s which sets up a new status quo for the team moving forward, but when we might see them again, it is too soon to say. We also have the end of The Vigil, which gives some Planetary vibes, so some Wildstorm inspired storytelling there as well and we can't wait to read more of that story. Speaking of Planetary, throw in some Authority overlap and you have the debut issue of the latest iteration of The Outsiders, plus Green Lantern continues to be action-packed, Danger Street mantains its excellence as does Detective Comics. Jace and Rocky from the Comic Boom! YouTube channel give their spoiler-free thoughts on By A Thread #1. It's the latest Comixology Original title from writer Scott Snyder with his son Jack as co-writer. Gorgeous, kinetic art with wonderful emotion in both facial expressions and body language by Valeria Flavoccia is perfected complemented by beautiful color work from Whitney Cogar wit lettering by Tom Napolitano rounding out the creative team. This debut issue does a wonderful job of establishing the status quo of the world these creators have crafted while offering a compelling narrative that promises for fun and adventure to come.

Jace chats with writer Scott Bryan Wilson and artist Max Fuchs about their recently released debut issue of Kill More from IDW. Set in a city that is literally falling apart with anyone and everyone relocating if they can, it attracts exactly the wrong kinds of people, namely serial killers. This procedural explores the lives of the cops who stick it out to try and solve these crimes as well as the eclectic and numerous serial killers who are attracted to the chaos and entropy in the city of Colonia as it collapses. Sharp dialogue, impactful art and moody colors make this a must-read.
